Satin Leaf Circle was formed in 1969 by a group of Sewalls Point ladies who had a vision fot their community. Today our circle has an active Roster starting with a Mystery Lunch by boat for our October meeting, November took us on a walking tour of member Marge Brutvans beautiful grounds. Acting as our Guide and answering our questions was none other than "Farmer Fred Burkey" December our group celebrated the Annual Christmas Party at the lovely ocean front home of member Donna Wigdahl. Our annual Auction was enjoyed by all as well as profitable.
The members of Satin Leaf are pleased that our circle was able to donate a bench and an arbor for the rose garden at Hospice of Martin County. Watch for a group picture in the near future.
Satin Leaf Circle gave two scholarships to two worthy children for Camp Wakiva, Christmas toys were given to the children at Hibiscus, canned good were collected and donated to the Food Bank. Miniature flower arrangements were delivered to Hospice for the patient's trays and a centerpiece was delivered for the patients wing at Hospice for Christmas on behalf of Satin Leaf Circle by our president.
